Charles IV The Father of the Country has been voted as the Greatest Czech by Czech people in the final round of a long time running Czech Television show which was licensed by the BBC. The first Czechoslovak president Tomáš G. Masaryk took the second possition and former Czech president Václav Havel was the third. I couldn't vote because I'm in the U.S., but if I could have I would have voted for Charles IV as well.

Unfortunately, I needed to renew my student visa to come back to the U.S. and when I applied for the visa at the U.S. Embassy in Prague, my application was denied.
